Delivering a recap after a tea filled show is one of the best ways to engage our audience and bring in newcomers for our upcoming shows. Whether you're an introvert who does not like sitting in a room full of people, or just a person with a busy schedule and wants to keep up with GirlTalk, our blog is the new best thing for you!

A few weeks ago, we officially kickstarted GirlTalk's first show: The Introduction. There was a ton of patience behind this launch, and we here at GirlTalk are most thankful for that. Over the last few months, the crew and I have been working nonstop to pull this off with a bang, and it was most exciting to see so many personalities come and share one space.

There are so many reasons why I wanted to create a platform such as GirlTalk. I had an Instagram based series named: TalkStop, a platform for myself where I could "explain" myself, give insight on views, and be unfiltered. I was so tired of working under companies where I had to basically protect my image. I knew other people were as well, so in return, I created my vision for GirlTalk, inspired by my series: TalkStop and my favorite MTV series: GirlCode. Combined, I made a platform that will be used as a safe space where we can all come to have fun, learn from each other, and talk about real scenarios.
"I got tired of working under people, and always having to filter myself and remain professional while in those workspaces. I created GirlTalk as a safe space where we can all learn from each other, have fun, spill tea, and discuss juicy topics all while remaining #unfiltered." - Gabe Squalor
I finally had the chance to formally introduce the faces of GirlTalk, as seen: Britt (briju.vu), Blu (askabout.blu), and Sahar (rosicci.vu). Not shown: Cyn (cynj.vu).

Working with each girl has been a pleasure. You are sure to enjoy Britt and Sahar's goofiness, Blu's honesty, Cyn's realness, and my potty mouth. Every time I am around these individuals, I am always in for a laugh. Just as I love them, you all will as well, and I can't wait for you all to join the journey to see all of their fun personalities!
Segments!
During this show, I introduced a thing called segments that we will be introducing to GirlTalk. Segments consist of games, discussion, and critical thinking that will get our audience up and moving. Some of these segments you have seen in real life, such as Jubilee, and we have brought them to IMVU, but with a twist. Segments are something that my team and I are most excited about getting to IMVU. Instead of having one big studio for our different segments, I realized that having separate rooms allows you all to interact with each other more. Segments will happen during the week of our show and will be directed by GirlTalk moderators. We will have tickets available for each segment, and they will be limited to 8-10 players per room. As we progress, we will invite the audience to give suggestions on future segments they would like to see. *Please be on the lookout for our post regarding details on each separate segment + photos.
IMVU Relationships: Do They Work?
We ended the night with a topic: Virtual Relationships/IMVU dating. With one of our panelists, Blu, leading this conversation, we could get an insight into everyone's opinion and experiences on IMVU dating. Mostly everyone in the audience had the experience of dating someone on IMVU, the rest no. We asked what everyone's opinion of mixing real life with virtual, and the poll shifted. Some were stating that they do not mind, others mentioning that virtual is virtual for a reason. As the discussion continued, things went for a turn when the question of sex and nudes was involved. "Do you roleplay on IMVU?" "Are you comfortable with sending real-life nudes to your partner here on IMVU?" A few of the girls in the room mentioned that they have actually sold their nudes on IMVU, so sending them to a partner isn't an issue. Having sex on IMVU is normal, but what if it became a sneaky link in real life? A smaller group of girls mentioned that they actually have had sneaky links from IMVU. I said how I would like to, especially if the sex here on IMVU is the bomb.
“Because eventually imma wanna link to try that d that you be roleplaying with!”
