Segments are becoming apart of the new GirlTalk experience. They consist of games, discussion, and critical thinking that will get our audience up and moving. Some of these segments you have seen in real life, and we have brought them to IMVU, but with a twist. They will be held in different rooms to provide a different theme and experience in each room. Segments will happen during the week of our show and will be directed by GirlTalk moderators. We will have tickets available for each segment, and they will be limited to 8-10 players per room. As we progress, we will invite the audience to give suggestions on future segments you all would like to see. *Please be on the lookout for our post regarding details on each separate segment + more photos.
Agree to Disagree
​If you are familiar with Jubilee, then you are not new to this upcoming segment. We will pick 8 players from our Instagram audience to play this tricky game: Agree to Disagree. A game moderator will be present to guide these conversations. Players will be lined up against the wall, and they will not move until our moderator has announced the statement. Once they have done so, each player will move to a parking spot number. Each number represents a range of agree/disagree. 1 = Agree, 2 = somewhat agree, 3 = disagree, 4 = somewhat disagree. Players will be facing one another to discuss within the group, (agree and somewhat agree will be discussing with each other on why they agree. Disagree and somewhat disagree will discuss with each other...all at appointed times.) Each team gets 5 minutes to discuss their choice before they all regroup at the chairs and sit and have a conversation and try to change the other side's opinion.
Tell The Truth
Tell the truth is a space where exes, frenemies, ex-friends, etc. can come and basically just seek the truth out of each other. How will we pick these people? We will have an application available before the week this segment airs where you all may sign yourself and your plus one up. We will only choose one pair. Before the show, each individual will be interviewed so that we can get the background info of this relationship, and so we can ask the appropriate questions. Each individual will then be given different sets of questions right before the show, and they will ask these questions to seek answers from their partners. Beware! A GirlTalk mod will be stepping in every few minutes to drop a "bombshell" question that will spice things up. There will be a short break in the middle of this segment where the audience may ask their own questions. We hope that we didn't make things too spicy! Each person has the opportunity at the end to ask their own question that will need to be answered by their partner. In the end, we hope that this fun game will repair broken friendships and relationships with each other.
PillowTalk
PillowTalk is a segment that will take place the night of our official GirlTalk show or the next day where Gabe and one of the panelists will sit in their pajamas, and drink wine while discussing the recap of the show, what they liked, & answering questions from our GirlTalk dropbox. Interviews within our GirlTalk panelists and guests will also be conducted during this time. Very simple, and chill. The audience may also attend in their pajamas and bring a wine of their choice. :)
Ready in 10
Are you a new user or just someone who has no idea how to pick a permanent look? Then Ready in 10 is the perfect Instagram based segment for you. Hosted by our very own fashion icon, Blu, Ready in 10 is one of the newest and most helpful resources to newer avatars on IMVU. Blu will be taking 10k to provide one of you lucky individuals a full makeover. Interviews will be conducted for this process so that we can better understand your style and what you are looking for in a makeover. Once your new look has officially been chosen and you love it, you will be posted in a before and after on our GirlTalk page in hopes to also provide exposure for your page. More instructions for this segment will be available once our host Blu is back.
